Ballymagarvey Wedding Photographer
I always look forward to working as a wedding photographer at Ballymagarvey Village. Located in County Meath and only a 45-minute drive away from Dublin, it’s a stunning wedding venue with everything you need right at your feet. The grounds are fantastic for pictures and the dining room is spectacular. They have really paid attention to the lighting and mood in this venue and it’s an absolute pleasure to photograph.
Ballymagarvey’s 18th Century house is a warren of beautiful rooms and conservatories. There’s even a sheebeen located at the back of the main building.
For the morning preparations, there is a beautiful room in one of the adjacent buildings that Ballymagarvey keeps for bridal preparations. It’s big and bright and has everything you need to make the morning go as smoothly as possible.
Kevin & Nicole got married in a little church about 15 mins away from Ballymagarvey. After the ceremony, they walked down the aisle and out to a full guard of honour. Then it was back to the wedding venue for photos and food. Kevin and Nicole were fantastic to work with on the day and after a short stroll in the grounds for portraits, I had them back enjoying their reception in under 25 mins. After dinner and speeches, the spot of rain in the evening came in handy as an umbrella works really well for the mandatory Ballymagarvey night-time photo taken under the chandelier-filled tree.
